The Yoga which gives äyus – life and longevity.  AyurYoga recreates the synergy of body, energy, mind, intellect and soul with their surroundings through the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda and techniques of Yoga combined with contemporary scientific knowledge, established by Dr. Vasant Lad. This class may be composed of asana, pranayama and meditation that is energizing or grounding; depending on what doshic influence is strongest in the atmosphere and in the students of each class. Either way, you will leave feeling balanced and rejuvenated.

Vinyassa Yoga

Vinyasa is literally translated from Sanskrit as meaning “connection.” In terms of yoga asana, we can interpret this as a connection between movement and breath, which leads to a connection of the body and mind. This style is sometimes also called vinyassa flow yoga, because of the smooth way that the poses run together and become like a dance. Pranayama and meditation are blended into this class to keep the mind centred and the energy grounded.

SATTVA All Levels

Sattva is one of the three universal energies, qualities or ‘gunas’ according to the science of Ayurveda. Sattva is the quality that yogis point their attention towards, making liberation possible. The Sattvic state of being is the best suited for spiritual practice as it is the purest most balanced state, promoting wisdom, harmony, joy and intelligence. The SATTVA yoga practice was born out of one question, one seat and one mantra. The question is ‘Who Am I,’ the seat is meditation, and the mantra is AUM.

This is a dynamic practice composed of specific breathing techniques and guided meditation, practiced after the postures to strengthen the lungs and centre the mind. Every month a new diverse Hatha Yoga sequence is introduced to the Sattva School of Yoga, which is designed to bring balance, inner strength, and energy to the practitioner in a fluid posture flow. This practice balances the body, breath and mind to leave you feeling blissful and in a Sattvic state.

SATTVA Beginners

A slower-paced class to cover the basics and teach you the fundamentals of the postures; the perfect class for those just getting started with their practice, those with an injury or seniors.


The SATTVA Bliss class is designed to restore and rejuvenate the body & mind, bringing it back to its vibrant and connected self. As this practice is very grounding, composed primarily of seated postures, it will balance the chakras and the nadis and leave you in the perfect state of mind for meditation. With the use of the SATTVA principles of body, breath and mind to work deeper into a variety of postures, the stillness found will help you explore the energetics of the SATTVA practice.
