Online Classes & Sessions
I want to thank you for the wonderful course you put together in April, Ayurveda and Yoga. It was exactly what I needed. It helped me to align with the principles of Ayurveda in a deeper way, integrating this knowledge further into my being, and offered many practical applications that I was able to immediately implement into my daily life.
The questions for reflection that you offered after each class helped me to be mindful as I moved into the following week, and your yoga classes (with meditation and pranayama) based on the doshas were a beautiful outlet for deeper awareness and spiritual growth. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, wisdom, and beautiful spirit. I am so grateful and I look forward to the next courses/classes I take with you in the future.
~Jacinta Nadeau, Online Course Attendee
I found the S.I.T. technique used by Jessica to be incredibly powerful and rewarding. I was able to talk through the feelings and issues that I wanted to clear and worked with Jessica to repeat clearing and forgiveness statements, positive statements that would then imprint on my subconscious.
It was a technique I had never tried before but felt it was very successful. I am able to call upon those declarations when I need to, if I’m in a situation that needs a little bit of help, those mantras come back to me and I can quickly resolve the situation.
I’m very grateful to Jessica for the peace and clarity she was able to bring me. It was an unusual technique but one that I found be very worthwhile.

On Massage and Ayurveda Treatments
Jessica the master Ayurvedic Masseuse is a must! I get massages 2x per week due to back surgeries. I do not let just anyone touch me. Her extensive training and knowledge made my massage just perfect.
The Ayurvedic treatment diva, Jessica K is absolutely extraordinary! Coming from NYC I have had many body treatments, but her intuitive touch and top notch Ayurvedic lineage made the treatments with her something special.
Jessica Kruse provides blissful massages that literally leave you walking on the clouds.
Jessica, the massage genius will provide a body and mind changing experience.
Jessica, the massage therapist/yoga instructor…what an amazing woman she is. Very sweet and down to earth person, who gave the best Turiya Therapy session, that I have ever had (I have never had a turiya therapy session before, but believe me I’m sure it was the best.)
Also, one of my favorite parts of my trip, was my Turiya Therapy massage, by Jessica, who is a beautiful Healer. It is a must do, in my opinion.

The Shirodhara Bliss Treatment I had with Jessica was truly the highlight of my trip to Vida Asana. I had never had one, but as a student and teacher of yoga I had heard of the amazing healing properties of the treatment. I initially thought it would just be great for relaxation, but it far surpassed all my expectations.
I had been battling imbalances with my thyroid and hormones and after my treatment, quite literally everything started to recalibrate. It was like Jessica hit my official reset button. My thoughts have been more clear, energy has been boosted, I’m sleeping soundly, and am energetic upon waking, the weight gain has subsided, and I am effectively am losing the weight I had gained during my time of imbalance.
I am a nurse and am not one to believe in “magic” quick fixes, but I can say without any hesitation that my treatment with Jessica recalibrated my entire system, and left me feeling more vital and energetic. I only wish Jessica was closer, so that I could get these treatments regularly. If you have the opportunity don’t let it pass without getting this incredible healing treatment from Jessica.
The treatment itself was extraordinary, but Jessica’s healing touch made it a nurturing once in a lifetime experience.

I was at a point in my life where balance seemed elusive, I had a strong yoga and meditation practice, was mindful with nutrition and self love, yet somehow still felt I was missing something…..until I met Jess! She spoke of Ayurveda and that’s when I knew this was to be the missing piece to my puzzle, I booked an Ayurvedic counselling session, where Jessica asked many questions about my life in all aspects of how I live, she completed a pulse reading and discussed how my constitution relates to all aspects of life, what times I practice, the level of intensity in my gym routine, foods I ate, colours that are in my home, morning routine(Dinacharya) and many other elements. I was given a nutritional guideline and off I went to the grocery store. I borrowed books including cook books at my local library and began to assimilate this new way of life……before I knew it I had actual felt that oh so elusive balance, all thanks to meeting this most blessed soul! If you have crossed paths with Jessica the universe is telling you to tune in and be open and receptive to her knowledge and wisdom.

I am petrified of hights and had decided to take the zip line excursion on my recent trip to Costa Rica. I was on a yoga retreat, staying at the beautiful Eco Lodge, Vida Asana where Jessica does her Ayurvedic treatments and teaches yoga. The timing couldn’t have been better, luckily I had scheduled a Shirodhara treatment that morning with Jessica. The treatment room is attached to the yoga shalla and has a very cozy and serene atmosphere. I was transported away to a calm place and was left feeling centred and relieved of all my anxiety, not to mention how beautiful my hair and skin felt! I went zip lining that afternoon and had a great time with almost no fear!! It has been a month since then and the effects have lasted even up until now. Thank you Jessica for this amazing experience.
Also, make sure to book a massage with Jessica Kruse, the on-site massage therapist and yoga instructor. The 2-hour Shirodhara Bliss treatment was amazing, and worth every penny
I was fortunate to squeeze in the Shirodhara treatment. It was beyond relaxing, it was truly transcendent. Bliss!

The best massage I’ve ever had was by the hands of this beautiful lady. Thank you so much Jessica Kruse. You rock!!
I arrived for my yoga retreat at Vida Asana with the worst head cold I’d had in years, and an ear that would not unplug after repeated ascending and descending over several flights to get there. I was miserable, uncomfortable and didn’t feel like doing much of anything, with pain radiating down to my jaw and an inability to hear out of my right ear. Unfamiliar with Ayurvedic practices and generally a subscriber to Western medicine, I wasn’t confident that Jessica would be able to help me, but I was in so much discomfort I was ready to try anything. Jessica did a Nasya treatment on me involving facial massage and drops up my nose – and the results were incredible and instant. As I tilted my head back and the drops Jessica applied went to work, my right ear opened with a whoosh of air and I felt better immediately. Jessica really saved the day and I was able to enjoy the rest of my retreat at Vida Asana thanks to the relief she provided. I will definitely be making an appointment with Jessica again for Ayurvedic treatment the next time I’m in Costa Rica!
The Shirodhara Bliss treatment was one of the most luxurious things I have ever experienced, and I have experienced a lot of luxury!
~Carlota, Luxury Villa Owner
That was the most healing, sacred, extraordinary massage I have ever experienced in my life! Thank you Jessica!
~Cheryl, Massage Therapist
I highly recommend the message treatments too with Jessica Kruse.
On Yoga Teacher Trainings, Classes & Retreats
I completed the 200- hour Yoga Alliance certified Anila Ayurveda and Yoga School teacher training course with Jessica in March (2018) at three unique and private locations in Costa Rica. I had previously met Jessica on a glorious 5- day yoga retreat with my daughter at Villa Sumaya, Guatemala in 2016, and knew she was the one to choose for my yoga teacher training. From the moment our first teacher training yoga class began and Jessica said: “Everything you need to know is already inside you … it is more about remembering than learning,” I felt things shifting inside of me as a 57 year old yoga student. Jessica’s wise words continued illuminate throughout our 21-day training and as a psychotherapist I continually marvelled at how such a young woman could have so much insight into the human condition.
Jessica lives and breathes the science of yoga and Ayurveda medicine and her passion is contagious on this subject, as she teaches not only from the many courses she has taken, but more importantly, from her heart and her own experiences in India and the time spent with her mentor Dr. Lad. This allowed her teaching to be extremely authentic, relevant and meaningful to our daily lives. Her studies and practice as an Ayurvedic massage therapist ensured we were accurately learning all the muscles, bones, ligaments and joints important to the practice of yoga in great detail, as well as benefitting from her luxurious marma point massages as we lay in shavasana at the end of each class. Marma points, as Jessica taught us, are the doorway into the soul and with her massages I definitely experienced a glimpse into the bliss body kosha!
Jessica was equally dedicated to ensuring not only our minds and souls were nurtured but our bodies as well, with the best organic foods cooked with love and creativity by her three private chefs that really made the experience extra special and memorable. Jessica’s beauty, grace and unique style provided with each and every yoga class made it a joy to practice with her and to be reminded of what a truly amazing yoga teacher can provide spiritually to their students. She has inspired me immensely to be the best teacher I can be, which is the gift of a great teacher. Jessica also does not forget about her students after they leave Costa Rica and continually checks in by email, answering questions and ensuring we continue to learn and study as new yoga teachers. That is true dedication!

I completed my YTT200 hours with Jessica Kruse (Anila Ayurveda) in Costa Rica in March 2018 and it has been transformational for me personally and has enabled me to start teaching my own yoga classes, a dream I couldn’t have imagined turning into a reality so soon after completing the training! I work as a Clinical Health Psychologist for the NHS in England and so I understand the important relationship between body and mind. YTT training with Jessica has developed my understanding further and has given me the knowledge of yoga and the tools to be able to develop my own personal practice and to teach what I have learned to others. Prior to training I had done very little yoga and I am so happy with what I have learned and how my body has changed as a result!
I appreciated so much about the way this training was put together. I loved the combination of learning about yoga and yoga philosophy together with Ayurveda. I liked the integration of the singing bowls, the fire ceremony and the cooking lesson as adding variety to the training. I felt that the content of theory and learning of practice was carried out at the right pace for me and in an interesting and engaging way. I felt supported by Jessica to overcome my personal challenges (hips and hamstrings!) and I felt encouraged to feel confident in delivering a yoga class to others. I liked the way we were able to teach at a pace that worked with our confidence level and so it didn’t feel overwhelming. I appreciated Jessica’s positive and constructive feedback which led to my confidence increasing further.
I loved the different locations and the mixture of beach side and mountain location. The beach side villa was my favourite location. I found so much peace and tranquillity in the mountains and so am so glad to have had the opportunity to stay there. I found Jessica to be a caring and encouraging trainer with so much knowledge and intuition that I have learned from. I am extremely happy I did the training with Anila Ayurveda and would highly recommend this training to anyone wishing to further their personal understanding of yoga and Ayurveda. Thank you Jessica xx
Dr. Alicia Ray, Clinical Health Psychologist and inspired yogi 🙂
The Anila Ayurveda & Yoga retreat and yoga teacher training I had with Jessica was extremely thorough and inspiring. Her genuine interest in our level of understanding each concept of Yoga and Ayurveda was never short of being fulfilled. I am so grateful I got to experience the three different environments in Costa Rica, thanks to being connected to a local, I got to truly delve into the truth of the Costa Rican Pura Vida embodiment. Being away from technology was extremely cleansing and healing. Our meals were like nothing I have experienced before, as far as beauty, taste and uniqueness, I felt like Beyonce with her personal Chef! Jessica’s expansive knowledge as a Yogi and Ayurvedic practitioner was present and illustrated every day from start to finish. She was extremely accommodating, which made being out of the country for the long period of time, a breeze. I not only left with a rested mind, a 200 hr yoga alliance approved certification and a tan (heyyy), but with a complete new outlook on my life and I have Jessica and the other women on my trip to thank for that!
I would absolutely book another experience with Jessica and the location of Costa Rica”

I had the privilege of attending an Ayurveda yoga retreat in Guatemala facilitated by Jessica Kruse. Jessica is a gifted teacher and extremely insightful. Additionally, I had one of the best massages I have ever had. Her passion for the practice of yoga and knowledge is contagious. I can’t wait to study with her again. She’s a true blessing to the yoga community
~Ilka Omdahl, Teacher
After being treated to Jessica’s gift of abhyanga massage, and after just a few days of following her simple advice, my 6-year-long struggle with an increasingly imposing health concern began to show noticeable signs of improvement. Through her wisdom and passion for Ayurveda, and as I continue to gradually introduce more of her suggestions, I am seeing positive changes such as: clearer skin, weight loss, more regular digestion, increased energy, healthier habits and relationships, and a general sense of well-being. I am so grateful to have met Jessica and for all of the amazing memories I have of my time at Lake Atitlán.
Thank you Jessica Kruse for the restorative yoga. It was exactly what I needed after having too much fun during the day!
I crossed paths with Jessica during my yoga retreat at Vida Asana in Costa Rica. Jessica possesses a wisdom and clarity beyond her years. Her presence was immediately therapeutic, and throughout the retreat, she continuously impressed me with her wealth of knowledge and true passion for what she does. Her yoga classes (hatha, vinyasa, restorative) varied in intensity, mentally and physically, but always met each individual’s needs. Her approach was fluid, fun, and at times, evoked emotion. She came around making small adjustments when necessary, and knowledgeable comments/reminders to keep us in check. I was able to successfully achieve metaphysical balance through her guidance. As the days passed, I found myself becoming stronger, mentally physically and emotionally. Beyond her obvious teaching talent, Jessica possesses a solid foundation of Ayurveda healing. I experienced an Ayurveda massage with Jessica, and it truly exceeded my expectations. I only wish I could have experienced more of this healing practice with Jessica. During our retreat, the students were lucky enough to have quality time with Jessica beyond practice, and it was such a pleasure getting to know her as an individual. My true respect for her comes from her extensive knowledge. She wouldn’t only be able to answer with a fact, but instead she could explain ‘why’ in great detail. Jessica has gone above and beyond to educate herself in the field in which she clearly excels. I feel truly blessed to have been a student of Jessica’s. The things that she taught me go beyond words. She is wholesome, wise, and a true asset in the yoga world.

This was my first time visiting Costa Rica and my experience was far better than I had hoped for. I came for a 6 day solo “personal wellness retreat” which included daily yoga, delicious and healthy home cooked vegetarian food, ayurvedic consultation + massage with the amazing Jessica Kruse.
I have attended two of Jessica’s Ayurveda and yoga retreat’s and I have yet to find another teacher like her. The retreats were full of yogic wisdom, local culture and memorable experiences. I found her classes so unique, both stimulating and relaxing, I always felt so good after class and like I learned something new! I was not used to doing the breath work and meditation that was included in all classes, but she made me feel comfortable with her kind and professional guidance and now I love pranayama and mediation! I like how she includes Ayurveda workshops that are attainable for all levels of experience, yet are very rich in ancient wisdom. For me this may have been the best part, as I was able to take home what I learned on the retreat and put it to use in my daily life. Oh and how can I not mention her incredible bodywork sessions and truly life changing consultations? Thank you Jessica, you have changed and inspired my life.
~Kelly B, Orthodontist
Jessica is an extraordinary Ayurvedic practitioner. I met her at a yoga retreat she lead and she was a huge part of the experience. She has such a broad knowledge base when it comes to Ayurveda. She always accommodated anyone she could for whatever session they wanted. During the week you could see she had such a passion for her practice and wanted us to get the most out of our sessions. This chick gives the best massages. I actually wanted to drag her back home with me!!! Do not pass up a chance to get in a session with this goddess. You won’t regret it.
